How They Work
Don't let the look fool you. Hero Heels feel NOTHING like regular high heels. At the core, Hero Heels are BAREFOOT shoes with completely collapsable, non-weightbearing foam that pops up to fill the gap when you elevate yourself onto your tippy toes. There's no removable heel. It's always a barefoot shoe that always looks like a 4 inch wedge heel when YOU lift up onto your tippy toes.
Don't you get tired?
If you choose to stay on your toes continuously, yes. You are likely to get a great calf workout. Hero Heels don't just give the illusion of toned legs. They actually tone your legs! However, we don't recommend spending extended amounts of time in the high heel position. That is the very position that causes long term damage from regular high heel use. One of the additional benefits of hero heels is that most people are not physically capable of holding themselves in that damaging position long enough to cause the damage the would receive from standing for hours in a traditional high heel.
